For individuals seeking to delve deeper into the world of wines, this qualification provides a detailed understanding of grape growing and wine making. Upon completion you will be able to assess wines accurately, and use your understanding to confidently explain wine style and quality.
Upon successful completion you will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin, and will be able to use the associated WSET certified logo.

Intensive course: 5 classroom days h: 10.00 – 18.00 + Examination
Unit 1 is assessed by a closed-book exam of 50 multiple-choice questions and a short-written answer paper. Unit 2 is assessed by a blind tasting of two wines, one white and one red.
It is recommended that you hold the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits or can demonstrate the equivalent level of knowledge.

EXAMINATION: Nov.12 h: 10.00 – 13.00 or following sessions*
- Tasting h: 10 – 10.30
- Theory h: 11.00 – 13.00
*Please consider a minimum of 54 hours of individual study before or after the classroom course. Examination dates are fixed to the course onto which you book. All transfer requests must be made by email to email@example.com at least 12 working days before the original examination date. Transfer requests made after the deadlines will incur the admin fee and cost of examination paper which will have been ordered via WSET Awards.
