The WSET® Level 3 Award in Wines is an advanced course that offers an analytical and professional knowledge of the world of wine. Designed for those seeking comprehensive expertise, the path explores every aspect of the sector: from viticulture to production, to the detailed analysis of the main wine regions in the world.
This course provides an in-depth exploration of the sector through intensive classroom sessions and at least 54 hours of private study. To support your preparation and reach the required guided learning hours, three preparatory videos will be sent before the start of the classroom sessions to correctly set up your study.
Full Immersion in the Classroom: Four intensive days dedicated to the practice and perfection of the tasting technique on about 60 selected high-profile wines.
Examination and Certification: The qualification is obtained by passing two tests: Theory (2 hours): 50 multiple choice questions and 4 open-ended questions. Tasting (30 min): Blind analysis of two wines (a white and a red). Our course includes the written correction with relative feedback of one classroom exercise and a maximum of four at-home exercises on open questions. Results will arrive via email about 10 weeks after the exam.
